About PawnMeter

PawnMeter was started by Marius Andronie, who ran a pawn business in Romania, registered with the National Bank of Romania, from 2013 to 2025. At the counter, the hardest question was always the same: what is this item really worth today? Price guides were old, marketplace ads showed asking prices, not real ones, and every clerk guessed differently.

PawnMeter answers that question only from real transactions: what comparable items actually sold for at pawn shops, pooled anonymously. When the data is not there, it says so. Gold comes from an official central bank reference price, converted to your currency.

It is built and run by DEVALAND MARKETING S.R.L., a Romanian software company (company details). PawnMeter is built for pawn shops in every country and already works in seven languages, because every pawn counter faces the same question.
